The Susquehanna RIver Initiative research team is currently using a Sontek River Surveyor M9 accoustic doppler radar system to measure flow velocities and discharges, map bottom topography and channel features, and assess shear stress and sediment transport conditions. This page is for sharing resources and field data among the research team.

Notes: GPS compass NOT calibrated. All measurements taken using M9 tethered by rope from old bridge. Turbulent upwellings next to large rip-rap boulders on right channel bank may result in distorted velocity fields in this region.
