| Dunedin sits at the end of a natural harbor formed by the extension of the Otago Peninsula out into the South Pacific. Since it begins about 5 minutes from our house, we took full advantage of every opportunity to explore it - its beaches, its hiking tracks, its attractions, its desolate landscapes with sheep roaming the highlands above the rocky cliffs, and of course, its penguins, sea lions, fur seals, and sea birds, including the Royal Albatross Centre. |
