![]() I am on leave for the 2008-2009 academic year from my position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Bucknell University. I will be spending the fall semester as a postdoc in the Analysis of Singular Spaces program at MSRI, and the spring semester as a Visiting Scholar in Pure Mathematics at MIT. I completed my Ph.D. in June 2004 at Dartmouth College, where Carolyn Gordon was my advisor. My research area is geometry. I am currently working on problems of spectral geometry, including the spectra of singular spaces such as orbifolds. The connections between number theory and hyperbolic geometry also interest me.
