The Special Session on Geometric Spectral Theory will take place from June 8-11, 2015 in Lisbon and Porto, Portugal. Talks will be held at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon on June 8th and 9th, and in Porto on June 10th and 11th as part of the joint meeting of the American, European, and Portuguese mathematical societies. The joint meeting runs until the 13th. We've tried to provide some basic information about the conference below and in the pages accessible by clicking on the tabs to the left. Lisbon portion of the session

The session begins on the morning of June 8th in Lisbon at the Instituto Superior Técnico. There is no registration fee for this portion of the session. To learn more about Lisbon as a tourist destination, check out the official tourist information site. We've also gathered some practical information specifically tailored to attending the Lisbon portion of the session.

Porto portion of the session

The Porto portion of the session is part of the AMS-EMS-SPM meeting, and all attendees are expected to pay the joint meeting registration fee. Talks will begin at 9:30 on June 10th and go until 11:50, with talks in both the morning and afternoon on the 11th. Our session will end at around 15:30 on the 11th. Of course, there are many other sessions and invited talks as part of the AMS-EMS-SPM meeting, which continues until the 13th.
