The following are some questions to think about while reading. It may help you participate in our discussion if you write out some notes or answers to these questions. I will only collect them in the case that not enough people participate in our discussion.
1. Opening case study questions.
2. What is a policy vacuum? How does it arise? What are examples of policy vacuums?
3. What is the traditionalist account and what are its difficulties?
4. What single aspect of computers makes it difficult to define and categorize its applications, impacts, policies, etc.?
5. Do morals derive from laws or do laws derive from morals?
6. How are computer ethical issues unique?
7. What is Analogical Reasoning, and how is it both useful and dangerous?
