Discussion Topics:

It is your responsibility to read the appropriate materials before coming to class so that we may have a meaningful discussion. I will maintain the list of discussion topics below to reflect the topics and discussants for each class. From time to time, I will also add relevant news articles that I come across.

If you are the discussant for the upcoming week, be sure to submit to me a list of several questions that you will use to guide the discussion for your topic. I will post them with your topic as a link to your names.

I may choose to use some of the questions you submit as topics for pop quizzes (should they occur)...so it is in your best interest to be prepared each week.

Additional Items of Interest for Our Class

These are additional readings that will be assigned along with chapters from our text to illustrate various points or provide a different perspective.

Here is a list of web sites related to some of our course topics:

IS Literature & News Sites (great for use on projects, hint, hint...)

Since the field of IS changes so rapidly, and often so unpredictably, any IS professional needs to "keep up" with what's going on. Here are some periodicals that I've found useful through the years. These links also make great places to search for articles for your group projects!
