Student Contributors

 

Jon C. Adams, with Jacob H. Frechette, designed the pages on Harriet Spofford, prepared the text of "Circumstance," and wrote the headnote.   He graduated from Andover High School in 1996 and, when the pages were posted in Winter 2000, he was enrolled at Bucknell University in the class of 2000, majoring in business and management and minoring in American literature.  He had one dog.

Katey Kuhns Castellano was editorial assistant during Fall 1999 while working toward the M.A. in English at Bucknell University.  She has a B.A. in English literature from Lebanon Valley College of Pennsylvania.  Her interests include modernist poetry, specifically the work of T.S. Eliot and H.D., religion in literature, and women's studies.

Jennifer L. Ciotta designed the page containing Victoria Earle [Matthews]'s short story, "Aunt Lindy," including preparing the images from the copy-text.  She graduated from Bucknell University in the class of 2000 with a major in English and a minor in Legal Studies.  While at Bucknell, she was coxswain on the Varsity Women's Crew Team, Co-Editor for the Science and Technology section of The Bucknellian, a member of the AIDS Awareness Committee, and Co_President of Cumbre, Bucknell's Hispanic/Latino society.

Jacob H. Frechette, with Jon C. Adams, designed the pages on Harriet Spofford, prepared the text of "Circumstance," and wrote the headnote.   He also wrote a poem in response to "Circumstance."  He graduated from The Taft High School in May 1995.  When the pages were posted in Winter 2000, Frechette was a senior at Bucknell University, with an English major and philosophy minor.  He has two dogs.
