Conference Registration, Room Assignment and Check-in Information

.Registration for the conference begins at 8 a.m. at the teaching complex building. The conference opening is at 9 a.m. The first sessions are at 10:15 a.m.

The conference dorms are Frank Worrell Hall and Sherlock Hall. Members of the UWI residence hall staff will check will check all dorm residents. Frank Worrell Hall has single rooms only. If you have requested a double room, you will be staying at Sherlock Hall. (It will also be noted on your data sheet.) Check-in will be at the residence hall at which you are housed. Your conference fees include lunch and dinner on both June 27 and 28. For your convenience, there will be light breakfast items for sale at the conference refreshment tents Friday, Saturday and Sunday.


Information for Presenters and Chairs

Presenters: In order to maintain the useful workshop character of the sessions at the Conference on Feminist Economics, we want to insure that there is ample time for audience feedback and comment on the papers presented. There should be at least 25 minutes at the end of each session for the audience to respond to the papers.
As you prepare your remarks for your Conference presentation, please keep this in mind. In general, if there are four papers in a panel each person should limit their remarks to 15-17 minutes. If there are five papers, remarks should be kept to 12-13 minutes.

Chairs: Please enforce these guidelines and inform presenters when their time is up.
