RHONDA WILLIAMS SCHOLARSHIP
Please note: the deadline for submitting applications for the Rhonda Williams
prize is March 15, 2003
The International Association for Feminist Economics (IAFFE) announces the Rhonda Williams Scholarship, instituted to help diversify IAFFE by encouraging more scholars of color to participate in feminist economics. In particular, the prize is intended to encourage and support IAFFE members whose work reflects Rhonda Williams's legacy of scholarship and activism.
Amount: $500 to be awarded at the IAFFE conference.
Criteria: The recipient's work should address one or more of the following issues:
Special consideration will be given to applicants from groups not well represented in IAFFE and for whom other sources of funds are not readily available. Recipients of the scholarship must give Feminist Economics the first right to consider publishing the finished paper.
Application Deadline: March 15, 2003

(1) a cover letter;
(2) a curriculum vitae, labeled "vitaeRWS<applicantlastname>"
(3) a statement of the connections between the applicant's scholarship and
the issues mentioned above (label file "statementRWS<applicantlastname>"
(4) an extended abstract or draft of the paper the applicant will present at
the 2002 IAFFE conference, scheduled for June 27-29 at the University of the
West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados, West Indies(label file "absRWS.03<applicantlastname>"
