VACUOLE

Function:
The vacuoles are cellular organelles with a simple membrane which have
the function of storing substances except when the vacuole is specialized. The
functions of the specialized vacuoles are storing water inside for keeping
constant the cellular volume, this function is made by vegetable cells
for replacing the cytoskeleton which is not grow in vegetable cells. Sometimes
an unpleasant flavour substance is dissolved in water for not being eaten
by the vegetarian animals. In animal cells the vacuoles are used
for storing energetic reserves or toxic products for the cell.
