Welcome to the Control Systems Course. This page has general links to information about the course.
- Course Schedule: Here is a link to the schedule for the course. Note the following in the schedule:
- The course is arranged in weekly units as much as possible. The schedule had to be adjusted for Fall Break.
- Homework is due weekly, and each lab group should submit homework together. Every person in a lab group is responsible for understanding the work due.
- There will be weekly quizzes. In the past, these quizzes have been on the material covered in the preceding week. This semester, those quizzes will test more than that. The previous system did not produce good retention, and this semester we will work toward better retention and transfer.
- To get started - especially if you have never worked with control systems, click here for an introductory lesson that will let you experience a simulated set of control systems. Work through that lesson and you will have some questions that you can answer using this lesson set. Click here for a note on different ways of using these lessons.
- As we work to improve the lessons, you will find more links within the lessons that will bring you back to the start page. You will also find more places where you can e-mail your comments on this web site. Suggestions for improvement are welcomed.
