When you begin to learn about something, the most important thing is what you already know about the topic and related topics. As you learn, you will build connections between your new learning and what you already know. You need to think about how you think about learning. (And, think about that last sentence carefully.) So, before we go on, take a little time to describe what you know about the learning process - the process that takes place when you or your students learn something.
