Using
The Lesson Set
The lessons are accessed from a menu page with menu buttons in the left
frame.
-
If you reach a lesson
page that does not have the menu button frame showing, click
here to put the display in that form.
-
When you are at the menu
page, every menu button will open a Table of Contents for a section in
the right frame. Normally, you will navigate within the lessons using
that Table of Contents which is organized much the same as the contents
of a typical textbook on Control Systems.
-
You can reach this page
from the menu page by clicking the Help & Tools button, then click
on the link labelled Using The Lessons.
-
For those who prefer,
you can also navigate from an index page where topics are arranged in alphabetical
order, much like the index of a book. Click
here to display the index page.
Features in the lessons that should be helpful include the following.
-
Problems are at the end
of a lesson - much like a textbook.
-
Links are being incorporated
to related lessons, and they are being placed immediately after the problems
at the end of a lesson.
-
At the beginning of each
lesson there is an indication of where you are in the lesson set, and a
link to take you to the beginning menu page.
There are a number of simulations and design tools that have been and continue
to be incorporated into the lesson set. They are being made available
from the index page, and from the Help & Tools Table of Contents page.
