As you know, Dr. Abner Mallity is doing some work on a new, "personal" helicopter.  This thing is supposed to have lots of power, with a fantastic rate of climb, etc.  He needs your help to get a mathematical model of the new aircraft.  The company funding the work has a newer model with more power, but with more interesting dynamics on the motor, so that the rotor speed does not change the same was as the previous one.

        By clicking here, you can get a simulator that shows the response of the newer helicopter when the rotor speed control signal has a unit step input.  Calculate the transfer function of the helicopter and give it to Dr. Mallity.  He needs that transfer function if he is to design a control system for the aircraft.

        If you want a hard copy of the data, highlight the simulator window by clicking in it, and then hit "Alt + Print Screen".  That puts a copy of the picture on the clipboard, and you can paste that into any application that accepts pictorial data.
