Dr. Abner Mallity has been working on a feedback amplifier with a block
diagram like the one shown below.

Mallity needs your help in determining a gain that will allow him to meet these specifications.
- The transfer function for the controlled system - the "plant" - is given by:
- G(s) = 2/[ 5 s + 1]
- The gain, K, can be adjusted to any positive value.
Determine the limits on the gain that will produce an acceptable system.
- The output, y(t), has to be within 2% of the value of the input, u(t), when the input is a step.
- The closed loop system has to have a time constant of less than .2 seconds.
