In this Fourier Series demo you can generate and plot Fourier Series signals
with harmonics up to the 10^{th} harmonic. To generate
and see the signal, do the following.
Enter the coefficients
(a's and b's) in the boxes at the right.
You should have an entry
for every coefficient. Empty entries are not treated as zero, and
will cause the calculator to mis-fire.
Set the highest coefficient
you want. You can calculate up to the 10^{th} harmonic.
Set the frequency.
Note that the calculator is real-time and takes 10 seconds to run.
Frequencies will be less than 1.0 Hz if you want to see reasonable detail,
and must (obviously) be greater than 0.2 Hz.
Click the Start
button. A plot will be generated in real time.
If you want to change
anything, enter the new data, then click the Reset
button which appears when the plot is complete. That clears the plot
and brings back the start button.
