A 500 W resistor and a 1000 W resistor are in series.  Eight (8) milliamps flows through the series combination.

• Draw the circuit showing the two resistors in series.
• How much power is dissipated by each resistor?
• Both resistors are rated at a quarter watt.  Which resistor will get warmer?  Devise a logical argument for your answer!
