Millie Farad needs a voltage source of 300 volts.  She has connected two smaller sources in series as shown below.
 
 

The output voltage, v₃(t), should be larger than either of the other two voltages.  The other two voltages are shown in the graph below.  The red trace is for v₁(t).  The blue trace is for v₂(t).

• Determine the magnitude of the sum of these two voltages.  Hint:  you will have to do some algebraic manipulations to determine the answer to this question.
