Dr. Abner Mallity has the system shown below. The block "G(s)" is a combination of an motor with a 2 second time constant. That motor drives a rotational inertia coupled to the motor through a "springy" shaft.

In this system, the transfer function, G(s), is given by:

G(s) = 20/[(2s + 1)(s² + 2s + 9)]

Here is the Bode' plot for the system.

Determine the smallest SSE that can be obtained while maintaining a 30^o phase margin.
Estimate the rise time of the closed loop system.
