From Pearson Airport

Taxi: Follow the airport signs to the taxi and limousine stands. Airport taxis and airport limousines appear almost identical, but have separate stands. The former are a few dollars cheaper than the latter. The fare to the downtown area is a fixed rate of about $45-50 one way. The trip takes about 30 minutes in normal traffic.

Previous guests have successfully used Airflight Services (+1-416-445-1999) and Airline Limousine (+1-905-676-3210 or +1-416-675-3638; pre-booking with them is possible by calling +1-800-263-5466).

Public Transit: This transit route involves taking a bus from the airport to a subway station (no new ticket needed for the subway, as the bus enters the subway station), and then the subway to downtown. No changes are necessary once on the subway. The grand total for this trip is $3, and it takes just under an hour.

  • In the airport, follow the signs for public transit/TTC.
Take the 192 Airport Rocket bus to Kipling Station (the last stop). Take the subway eastbound.
  • For the Comfort Hotel, get off at Yonge St. station. Walk south on Yonge St., and then take a left onto Charles St. East.
  • For the Holiday Inn, get off at St. George station and then walk west on Bloor St. West.
  • For the Howard Johnson, get off at St. George Station. Walk east on Bloor St. West, then turn left onto Avenue Rd.

From the West:

If you are on the Queen Elisabeth Way (QEW) eastbound towards Toronto from the west, continue to downtown Toronto. If you are on Hwy 401 eastbound towards Toronto from the west, turn south onto Hwy 427 after you pass the airport and follow the signs to the QEW. Then take the QEW east to downtown Toronto. The QEW turns into the Gardiner Expressway in Toronto. As you approach downtown Toronto, you will see the CN Tower - the second tallest free standing structure on earth - directly ahead of you. Soon after you pass the CN Tower, take the Yonge-York-University exit (which is the exit after Spadina). Go north on York Street until it meets University Avenue. Drive north on University Avenue until you reach College Street. At this point, you should go east on College Street, but you are not allowed to make a left turn. So continue about 50 meters north on University Avenue until you reach the start of Queen's Park Circle. The conference will be held in Victoria College, which is located on the northeast corner of Queen's Park Circle.
