The final examination for UNIV 245 is scheduled for Friday, December 14, 8-11 am in Observatory Room 105. It will include material covered between the midterm and the end of the semester. It will be longer than a midterm but should not take you the full three hours to complete. We expect that most people will finish in less than two hours.
We will be updating the classnotes so that as far as possible there will be a complete set available on the web. They will be available by the end of the day on Tuesday, December 11.
There will be a review session to cover the science part of the exam. Meet with Prof. Pizzorno, Wednesday at 3pm. She is still trying to get a room, so go to her office (BB205). She will post a sign on her office door telling where the review will be.
Social Science Questions
We have decided not to give specific questions in advance and you are not likely to have choice about which questions you answer.
There will be three essays. Each of them will be closely related to course readings and you will be graded partially in terms of how well you can show that you have read and understood those readings. The questions will be on the following materials:
1. There will be one question covering the anthropology readings and class.
2. There will be two questions covering those debate topics that also were discussed specifically in class.
