Scarlett Schroeder (Lewisburg High)

Hello, my name is Scarlett Schroeder, and I am a junior at Lewisburg Area High School. When I go to college, I want to get a Bachelors Degree in Marine Biology and/or Conservation Biology.

In the lab, I am part of a group conducting an experiment that tests different swabbing techniques used to determine if an amphibian, specifically salamanders, have fungal infection with Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd), an amphibian killing fungus.

Outside of the lab I run cross-country, dive, and pole vault. I am part of the French National Honors Society, volunteer at Evangelical Hospital, and in the summers work at the Lewisburg Community Pool teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding.
