Introduction

 

In the field of forensic science and crime scene investigation there are a myriad of topics to discuss. The multitude of clues investigators look for differs from crime scene to crime scene. The items that investigators typically look for are fingerprints, fibers, tools, etc. From my own background in chemistry I have a fond inclination towards forensic chemistry and the problem solving involved which subsequently brings out my engineering side. The technology involved with firearms identification is just bonus topics that I am interested in and therefore am including.
