AR 131 Elementary Drawing

This is a basic course designed to introduce drawing materials and skills, as
well as fundamental principles of composition. It is geared to develop an ability
to observe, to coordinate visual sensitivity with technical discipline and to build
a visual vocabulary. The student is challenged to develop a greater sensitivity
and assurance in drawing through the expressive and creative use of materials
and techniques

AR 231 Advanced Drawing

This course follws the objectives of Elementary Drawing and is structured to
continue the development of a visual vocabulary and build skills in drawing.
Students explore a broader range of materials, techniques and drawing
surfaces, and are challenged to show more independence in pictorial decision
making.
