AR 229 Printmaking

AR 230 Printmaking

These courses serve as an introduction to the basic techniques of etching,
drypoint, monotype, and woodblock printing. AR 229 is offered in the fall
semester, and AR 230 in the spring. Students may take one or both courses,
and the courses do not need to be taken in sequence. Assignments are geared
to develop technical skill and understanding. Each student is encouraged to
apply printmaking techniques to their own creative ideas and projects.
Advanced work and tutorials are also avaiable in lithography.
