The eyes are a very expressive feature. Often, animatronic eyes are built for a specific animatron. We wanted to develop an inexpensive, modular system that could be used in many different animatrons. The complexity of motions of the eyes can make it difficult to fit in a small space. We developed a complete eye system with movable eyeball, eyelid, and eyebrows.
